1. Every building in every quarter of the camp assigned families to provide volunteer workers for trash collection.
2. For many years there was no collection, but finally a pit for burning was made, and eventually a landfill outside the camp was constructed.
3. Privacy and modesty were hard to come by in the camp. Gradually more and more toilets were provided and shelters for bathing from a bucket as well:
4. " We take shower like everyone does. We shower outside, there’s no bathroom for us to shower. When we need to do business, we dig a hole a did it there. Later on they started to have bathroom. Our first time lived there, we have to dig a hole and as it goes on, the government started to give bathroom to us. 18 families share a bathroom. Grandpa is the one that dig a toilet. After the new bathroom things getting better."
