1. Devastating fire in camps, such as Nong Khai and Ban Vinai.
2. It was a windy day and with little water, residents and refugee fire fighting brigade on the rooftops fighting the fire.
3. The refugee fire fighting brigade consisted of more than 200 volunteers.
4. There were yellow fire trucks. Which were just tankers, but saved the day.
5. Families fleeing with their belongings from the fire. Refugees made homeless from the fire escaped with their belongings.
6. Photo: Kids trying to drink water from empty water tanks that were used to fight the fire.
7. The Ban Vinai fire was put out due to the heroic efforts of the fire fighting brigade, without any serious injuries to camp residents.
8. The Nong Khai fire completely destroyed the camp, leaving tens of thousands without shelter. Only the hospital and church were spared.
