1. 1954 - Dien Bien Phu, the end of the French War

The battlefield at Dien Bien Phu, in northwestern Viet Nam, where the Viet Minh defeated the French forces in 1954, ending their colonial rule. The tanks and weaponry seen here were supplied by the U.S.

Minors, Inc.

Minors was established as a 501 (c) (3) Organization at Mankato, Minnesota, in 1984, originally as Minors In Need Of Resettlement, to provide family reunification and related assistance to orphaned and abandoned children in refugee camps in Thailand. Since 1990 we have worked to serve severely impoverished highland ethnic minority communities in Laos and Viet Nam. In the U.S., we have co-created Hmong language resources with schools in Minnesota since 2018.
